Buffalo Sauce

We love hot sauce in our house, even our children. They'll subject themselves to the overwhelm of spicy, grab their water and proceed to have some more! Our favourite is Frank's Red Hot and that is what we use to make our Buffalo Sauce!

We love making Keto Chicken Fingers from scratch and smother them in this Buffalo Sauce but you could also use it with chicken wings!


I always had trouble with my Buffalo Sauce separating the hot sauce with the butter but I've come up with a new method to emulsify the recipe and keep it Keto!


Buffalo Sauce


Ingredients

1/3 cup of butter
1/2 cup of Frank's Red Hot
2 tsp of garlic powder
1 tsp arrowroot powder

Method

In a small dish, combine arrowroot powder with 2 tsp of Frank's Red Hot and set aside.
Add butter, remaining Frank's Red Hot, and garlic powder to a saucepan and melt.
Whisk it together with a fork to combine well.
Add reserved Frank's Red Hot and arrowroot mixture.
Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
Place in a blender and blend for 2 minutes.
Serve or pour over these Buffalo Chicken Fingers!
