How to Remove Pet Odour

The other day we came home from an fun and very long day of geocaching with the kidlets, I opened the door and I could smell it right away...

Our home is very small, just the way we like it, which means odours travel fast! Schnookums, our polydactyl companion which is a common star on our Instagram, had urinated on one of the kids beds. So frustrating!

And her name is pronounced Sh-nook-ums..

Well, she IS just a cat but she is a very good, clean and slightly obsessive cat. She even has divided her litter box in two dedicated sides, if ya know what I mean...

But this was our fault, one of the kidlets was playing with the closet door that houses her box and we forgot to check it before heading out for the day. She had no where else to go!

And cat urine stinks, like REALLY bad. I was worried because Schnookums had done is once, the smell would always be there so she would do it again. Luckily I have a recipe for that and it worked so well, I want to share it with all of you!

You will need:

- a spray bottle
- 1 cup of Hydrogen Peroxide
- 1 tsp of dish soap
- 1 tsp baking soda

Mix it up and spray on the stain to saturate it and let it dry. It works so well! Perfectly, in fact!
